On October 9-11, 2015, scoutmaster Mark, scouts Austin, Ryan F, Berik, Ryan Y, Luke, Jay, Matthew, Anthony, together with the 2 dads Chris and Stan, went for a 15-mile backpacking trip at the Sunol Regional Park.  They started at the Sunol staging area before the gate closes on Friday, then setup camp at Eagle Eye near Little Yosemite.  To satisfy cooking requirements related to backpacking, 4 scouts cooked 2 breakfast meals, a lunch and a dinner meal, and a snack meal. On Saturday, they hiked to and camped at Eagle Springs.  The hiked to Mission Peak to watch the sunset then back to camp.  On Sunday, they went back up to Mission Peak all the way down to the rendezvous point at Stanford staging area.  The scouts' backpacks weighed between 30-50 lbs each!
