Troop 7 is an all-girl troop in Scouts BSA; the new name for the Boy Scouts. It is associated with Troop 2 which is all-boy. We aim for the same experience in both troops:
- Balanced Camping and Outdoor Adventure
- Highly Qualified, Experienced and Dedicated Leaders
- Caring, Inclusive and Diverse
- Committed to Community Service
- Casual, Fun and Family Friendly Environment
Troops 2 and 7 meet at the same time and location and go on the same outings. Many of our adult leaders support both troops. However, youth leadership for Troop 7 is strictly drawn from the girls in the troop. As a scout, girls have all the same opportunities as Boy Scouts: from summer camps, to earning merit badges, all the way to advancement to Eagle Scout.
